What I wish is that Turkey doesn't get involved in this inferno, and most importantly in a strike on Iran.

The heart warming photos and speeches which president Gül gave in the forgotten Anatolian Southeast are all reasons for optimism. If the economy of that region grows and stability is achieved, Turkey will actually start giving lessons not only to the Moslem World, but to the whole wide world.

It will be a proof and a product of the Ottoman Islamic (pragmatic) spirit which emanated from Kayseri, the gate of Kapadokya.

It is an attractable spirit which joins Turks and Kurds and not a repulsive spirit of arrogance, fornication and Raký.

It will be a clear proof to the Turks themselves that they can cook something other than food in their kitchens by taking the ingredients from their religion and to stop the demeaning begging of the Europeans for something that is worthless and more mental than materialistic.

However if Turkey is pushed into this hell(Allah forbids), then it will suffer economic and military disasters.

No doubt, the Iranis will retaliate.

The US hegemony won't be hurt that much especially if it starts rejuvenating its Atlantic alliances. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/20546425/site/newsweek

As for AKP's moderate Islam, which actually has got nothing to do with Islam, it will be used especially if the democrats take over the white house. It will help them in improving America's image in the Moslem World.

Besides, just like the Moslem World, Turkish population is youthful. Americans love to target them, especially young women. http://www.usatoday.com/tech/news/2007-08-17-online-media-muslim-youth_N.htm

It is true that history repeats itself, and in this case Iran always proves itself to be an unclean neighbor.

I'm in Libya at the moment..everybody here just sleeps during the day and stuffs themselves with food at night..sloth, gluttony, indolence and hypocrisy are apparently good for the soul and cleansing for the spirit and body...The idea of Turkey giving lessons to the western world on anything other than making biber dolma seems particularly amusing...sleep...eat...construct conspiracy theories...eat some more....no further comment needed. The so-called Moslem World is just a bunch of backward thinking, disparate and dysfunctional police states that can't even agree amongst themselves on anything..when the oil runs out or new technology makes oil redundant they will sink into oblivion
