The news that the USA and Turkey are falling out over the issues of the Armenian Genocide and threatened incursions by the Turkish Army into Kurdish Iraq is strangely heartening...Hopefully this will drive a permanent wedge between them and discourage the US administration (and any future ones)from attempting to force Turkish EU accession. Let's keep our fingers crossed that this will become a permanent parting of the ways....
